DAY 1: CUSCO AIPORT TO HOTEL / CITY TOUR
Transfer to hotel and afternoon we will visit the following attractions:
The Cathedral .- Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value. Koricancha .- Religious center known as the "Temple of the Sun" highlights the impressive engineering used in its construction. Sacsayhuaman .- Located at 3 km from the city of Cusco, impressive stone fortress and magnificent architecture. Qenqo .- Ceremonial and ritual center, amphitheater where sacrifices were made. PucaPucara .- An old tambo, checkpoint along the roads Inkas. Tambomachay .- At 7 km from the city of Cusco, ceremonial center of cult to the water, known traditionally as the place of water.
Day 2: CUSCO / MACHUPICCHU
Early departure to the station Poroy or Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes. When we reach Aguas Calientes you will board a bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu trip is 15 minutes. Once you get to visit the citadel once the main attractions for free time for walking free. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus to board the train quickly to Ollantaytambo or Poroy. Arrival in Cusco at night. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY
Early departure to visit Pisac Ruins, the Andean handicraft market. Lunch in a tourist restaurant, and then continue to Ollantaytambo where we see the people, their typical streets and visit the impressive archaeological group, its terraces. Finally we will visit Chinchero is a town located about 3780 meters above sea level, Chinchero is very traditional where you can see the church and its traditional market. Arrival to Cusco in the evening at 6.30 approx.
DAY 4: CUSCO /SILLUSTANI /PUNO
Departure to the folklore capital of Peru, "Puno" On the way visit Sillustani Chullpas which is situated on a peninsula of Lake Umayo, 34 km from Puno, Sillustani is a cemetery where you can see a series of impressive tombs belonging to the Kolla culture (1200 - 1450) that developed in the northern part of the lake, in the locality known as Hatuncolla. The particular form of the tombs, inverted truncated cones, called chullpas. Lunch at a family home where food is made with local produce and where to create new dishes creativity knows no bounds. Will continue to Puno. Transfer to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 5: PUNO / UROS / TAQUILE / AREQUIPA
Tour 10-hour traditional boat starts at 07:00 and ends at approximately 17:00, while spread over 2.5 hours and return trip 2.5 hours, includes a visit to the Uros floating islands and Taquile 1 hour about 4 hours.
Taquile, is a natural island where we see a community that retains its distinctive ancestral customs and crafts of weaving and weaving about. At night transfer to the bus station for onward travel to the city of Arequipa.
Day 6: AREQUIPA / WALKING TOUR
Free morning to rest and 1:30 pm will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina beautiful citadel, which remains intact to this day, then cross the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa to reach the cloisters of the Society of Jesus, in the inside the temple can be seen carved wooden altars covered with gold leaf. In the sacristy is the chapel of San Ignacio with polychrome murals showing the tropical flora and fauna. Finally we visit the Museum of Andean Sanctuaries, this place will appreciate the Lady of Ampato, or commonly known as the Mummy Juanita, beautiful maiden encontradaen perfect condition in the snowy Ampato.
DAY 7: TRANSFER OUT
Transfer to the airport.
